ROBOTIC SAFETY
Robotic Safety Services
Robotic systems are incredibly durable, with many machines offering a typical MTBF of 62,000 to over 400,000 hours. However, if your robotic safety system is more than five-years old and has not been updated or regularly maintained, there is a good chance it does not offer adequate protection for your work force. TW Automation offers a variety of services that can be tailored to meet your needs:
Safety Audits
We evaluate your robotic operations, safety systems and processes using standards-driven criteria and an objective scoring process. You’ll receive a confidential read-out and itemized report, complete with line-item score, that identifies strengths, weaknesses and risks.
Fees and expenses are determined in advance of work; there is no further purchase obligation.
On-Demand Safety Service
The following services are available on a stand-along basis or as part of a service agreement.
Safety System Revisions
TW Automation engineers work with your team to design a revised or enhanced safety system that is compliant with your standards and compatible with the relocated and/or repurposed robotic cell.
Safety Component Updates
Updating safety components can be a cost-effective and relatively simple project with the potential to deliver measurable improvements to worker safety and robotic system reliability.
Safety Component Repairs
Whether by accident or old age, a failed safety system component means your robot is parked. We work with you to quickly understand the root cause, then implement the repair as quickly and efficiently as possible.
